I just love the note we just received from Jenny, who just got married in Varadero, Cuba. She looks amazing in what she calls her Cuban salsa dress… and when I looked at the pics, I had to agree that it totally fits the location and occasion! Here’s what she had to say:
I got married July 11, 2013 in Varadero, Cuba and wore an amazing dress that I received through The Brides Project. A year before the big day, I went with my mom and bridesmaids to a few wedding dress shops and I could not find anything that said “this was the dress” or “this is the perfect dress for a destination wedding.” I also could not afford to spend and did not want to spend over a $1000 on a dress so I started searching on-line for some ideas. I came across The Brides Project and immediately had to check it out. I couldn’t believe a place like this existed. Upon my arrival the friendly staff greeted me and were really helpful. Did I find a dress? I found 5! The prices were in my budget and it was for such a good cause that I even considered buying two dresses! Ha-Ha! It was hard to pick but the one I kept thinking about I knew had to be the one. I finally understood why all those other brides would cry and get excited on Say Yes To The Dress!
Congratulations Jenny! Looks like you were ready to dance the night away. (Photo credits to Steve Menard of Eighty Hour Photography).
