Gown Rental Agreement

I understand and agree that the dress is to be returned in a similar condition barring minor cleaning and repair.

Terms:
The rental term for the dress is a period of 30 days. Pick up and drop off must be communicated and done within The Brides’ Project hours of operation. Drop offs must be done in person, scheduled with staff, and not left in the bin outside the shop. Any dress not returned to The Brides’ Project within the 30 day window will be considered late and subject to additional fees of $25/day. After 2 weeks, the dress will be considered sold.

Pick up:
-Dress condition will be assessed with you
-Video will be taken of the dress for our records
-Full price must be paid in for each item
-Garment bag, hanger, and seamstress note will be supplied
-Once the dress has been picked up, the rental period has begun for the period specified./p

Drop off:
-Staff will inspect condition of the dress (returned in the provided garment bag, seamstress note, and on the hanger)
-Video will be taken of the dress for our records
-Deposit will be refunded less the rental fee and any additional charges determined for extensive repairs, cleaning, or late fees

NOTE: There is no additional refund given if you choose not to wear the dress or return it before the end of the rental period.

Repair/Cleaning Fee:
Once a dress is rented, you should take every precaution to ensure its safe and timely return. You are responsible for any damage that occurs beyond regular wear and tear. The Brides’ Project staff reserve the right to assess the condition upon return and assign fees to return the dress to its previous condition. Should the dress be irreparable or permanently stained, the client will be responsible for the full price of the garment and no refund will be issued upon its return.

Sizing and Alterations:
We strongly recommend trying on your dress in the store prior to renting to assess the condition with us and ensure that the size is appropriate.
We do allow reversible alterations. This means that the dress can be taken in, hemmed, straps shortened without cutting any excess material. You may also make other changes like removable sleeves or anything else that temporarily alters the dress to better suit you.
You will be provided with instructions for your seamstress – please make sure to pass these along.

Just a Word on Outdoor Weddings:
As a word of caution, outdoor use of the dress is likely to cause extra cleaning and damage charges.
