Appointments are necessary to try on dresses or for a veil consultation. Once you book your appointment online, you will receive an email confirmation. NO SHOWS are unacceptable and really waste volunteer time – if you can’t come, please cancel your appointment as early as possible to free the spot for someone else.
These appointments are for our Toronto location only.
For all appointments, we ask for:
- maximum of 1-2 guests. WE HAVE NO LOBBY/SEATING. GUESTS SHARE YOUR CHANGE ROOM.
- no food or beverages,
- no makeup on the bride,
- bring non-slip indoor shoes like Crocs, flipflops, or other clean, flat, non-slip footwear for the bride AND guests. We have very slippery hardwood floors and stairs, and have had slips/falls in the past.
The Brides’ Project is not like typical salons… instead we offer a self-service environment and ask that you take part in keeping our fun little shop nice for the next bride.
Bridal Gown Appointments
Serious shoppers only!!! Please don’t come looking for the dress you want from a salon (we won’t have it). And please don’t visit with the intent to just try stuff on… wait until you are ready to commit to a dress.
Why? Our dresses are not samples we can replace. They are another bride’s wedding dress.
If you don’t find a dress you love, please consider a $20 suggested donation for the amazing experience you’ll have!
There are no returns and no exchanges. All sales are final.
You do not need a separate veil app’t.
For those who have bought their dress already (elsewhere is ok too!), we’d be delighted to help you find the perfect veil to match! Our veils are simple, cost-conscious and made by the owner. Click here to learn more about what we have available. You can bring your dress only to colour match – but we do not have space to try it on with veils.
Veil appointments are 15 mins and offered on Saturdays at 11am and 4pm, on Sundays at 4pm, and 7pm on Wednesdays/Thursdays. If you cannot come at these times, please drop us a line to see if we can squeeze a veil spot between other app’t times on Sat/Sun.
We often book up a couple of weeks ahead. Please, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, do so as soon as you can!!! To cancel or reschedule, login to your account here. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner and ‘my appointments’. If you run into problems, just email us and we’ll cancel/reschedule it for you.
Please note: We do not have a waiting list, so check back frequently! We often get several cancellations. The online app’t system updates in real time. You can also call at the beginning of shop hours on the day you wish to come in.
