IMPORTANT info about COVID-19 and your experience at The Brides’ Project.

As a small business owner and given the fact that this is also my residence, the following guidelines will be applied without exception to protect our staff, our clients, and the safety and security of my home.

The rules – some of which have not changed:

  • Maximum of 2 guests with each bride. NO EXCEPTIONS.  If you have more, they can swap out half way through your appointment and we welcome clients to take advantage of our free Wifi to invite others to join virtually.
  • Until March 21st, masks or face coverings are required for entry, and should be worn properly and remain in place throughout the duration of your visit
  • After March 21st, staff will still be wearing KN95’s to protect our clients and anyone who may be immunocompromised.  You can make your own decision about mask/no mask depending on your comfort level.
  • Hand sanitizer/disinfectant wipes should be used upon entry
  • Please wear tights/pantyhose and a bra – we will be in the room with you at all times.  Tights make it easier to step into dresses so that we can keep our distance.
  • Staff are washing hands upon arriving at the shop, and prior to each appointment
  • All surfaces are disinfected with hospital grade product
  • Our current setup means that we can only have 2 appointments running simultaneously on different floors of the building.
  • To reduce wear on our gowns, your appointment will allow you to try on 5-6 dresses pre-selected from our Shopify catalogue only.
  • Everything put on the racks will be pre-cleaned

What we ask of you:

  • Wear a mask at least until March 21st.  They are MANDATORY and to be worn properly over the nose, mouth and chin.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or use disinfectant upon arrival.
  • Please reschedule if you have any symptoms – even a common cold. And please, ask the same of your guests.  They can join you via Facetime etc.
  • Brides and guests will be required to wear clean nonslip indoor shoes.  We have Crocs that are sanitized after each use  and disposable sockettes available onsite . Bare or stocking feet are not allowed.
  • Please wear or bring tights/pantyhose and a bra to facilitate getting in/out of dresses.  Staff will be in the change room with you at all times.
  • No food or beverages in the house.
  • Adults and nursing babies only. No children.

We don’t want to be COVID cops.  Please don’t ask for personal exceptions.  Brides or guests who come in coughing/sneezing or otherwise unwell make everyone feel uncomfortable.

Let’s all stay healthy – acknowledge and respect the health concerns of others as well.  Also keep in mind that we often have individuals here who are going through cancer treatment so we want to make sure to provide everyone with a safe environment.
