Appointments are necessary to try on dresses or for a veil consultation. Once you book your appointment online, you will receive an email confirmation. NO SHOWS are unacceptable and really waste volunteer time. If you can take the time to make the appointment, please also take the few seconds to cancel if you can’t come.
These appointments are for our Toronto location only.
For all appointments, we ask for:
- a maximum of 1-2 guests. WE HAVE NO LOBBY/SEATING. GUESTS SHARE YOUR CHANGE ROOM.
- no food or beverages,
- no makeup on the bride,
- bring non-slip indoor shoes like Crocs, flipflops, or other clean, flat, non-slip footwear for the bride AND guests. We have very slippery hardwood floors and stairs, and have had slips/falls in the past.
The Brides’ Project is not like typical salons… instead we offer a self-service environment and ask that you take part in keeping our fun little shop nice for the next bride.
Bridal Gown Appointments
Serious shoppers only!!! Please don’t come looking for the dress you want from a salon (we won’t have it). And please don’t visit with the intent to just try stuff on… wait until you are ready to commit to a dress.
Why? Our dresses are not samples we can replace. Each one will hopefully be another bride’s wedding dress. We want each dress to be in great shape… and to reduce wear and tear prior to purchase.
If you don’t find a dress you love, please consider a $20 suggested donation for the amazing experience you’ll have!
There are no returns and no exchanges. All sales are final.
Please do NOT book a veil appointment in addition. Your dress appointment includes that service, time-permitting.
Gown appointments include a veil consultation when time permits.
If you already have a dress, we’d be delighted to help you find the perfect veil to match!
Veil appointments are 15 mins and offered on Saturdays at 11am and 4pm, and on Sundays at 4pm. If you cannot come at these times, please drop us a line to make other arrangements.
We are often booked up a couple of weeks ahead with brides waiting for spots to open up. PLEASE, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, do so as soon as you can!!! To cancel or reschedule, login to your account here. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner and ‘my appointments’. If you run into problems, just email us and we’ll cancel/reschedule it for you.
No-shows hurt everyone!
Please note: We do not have a waiting list, but if you find that there are no openings on the day you’d like to come in, check back frequently! We often get several cancellations, particularly during the 48 hours prior to appointments once the reminders are automatically sent. You can also call at the beginning of shop hours on the day you wish to come in to check for spots.
