Please read our COVID-19 Response before making an appointment.

Thank you for being a part of what we do at The Brides’ Project where 100% of the profits from all sales go to the cancer charities we support.

You must have an appointment to enter the premises.

For ALL in-person appointments , the following will apply:

  • We allow a maximum of 2 guests, no exceptions. No children allowed, only nursing babes.
  • Masks are optional for clients but we may choose to wear a mask to protect our clients – some of whom may be immunocompromised.
  • no food or beverages,
  • bring non-slip indoor shoes like Crocs, flipflops, or other clean, flat, non-slip footwear for the bride AND guests.  We have sanitized Crocs & disposable sockettes available onsite.  Bare or stocking feet are not permitted.
  • our brides should come prepared with hosiery and a bra. Doesn’t matter what colour, straps/no straps… it’s just to make getting in/out of the dresses easier.

There are 3 types of appointments available and we ask that you only book ONE of the following:

Gown Appointment (in person): You’re here to try on wedding gowns. Preselect 5-6 from our Shopify catalogue prior to your appointment.  As time permits, veil/accessory styling included.

Veil Appointment: You’re looking for a veil to match a dress you already have.  Preselect some options from our Shopify catalogue or let us know what you’re looking for (many are not online).  You may also browse accessories.

Accessories: You would like to browse our accessories.

Donations: These are not booked online but please give us a call or email and let us know when you might be coming if you’d like to see a human. There is also a bin at the front that is available 24×7 and under video surveillance.

(In-person) Bridal Gown Appointments

Gown fittings are 1 hour in length.

At The Brides’ Project our dresses are not samples so we try to reduce wear and tear.  You will be allowed to try 5-6.  We recommend that you shop first, and when you something you’d like to try on, book your app’t.

There is absolutely no pressure to buy, but please don’t come with the intent to just try stuff on… wait until you are ready to commit to the dress if you find one you love. We also ask that you

  • bring or wear tights/pantyhose and a bra… our staff and your guests will be in your change room with you
  • no makeup on the bride,
  • browse our online catalog and send us your 5-6 selections a day or two before your appointment.  Staff will also make suggestions based on your choices and are happy to assist finding dresses you might like!

If you don’t find a dress you love, please consider a $20 suggested donation for the amazing experience you’ll have and to help us continue to support our philanthropic purpose.

There are no returns and no exchanges.  All sales are final.  We accept Visa, MC, Interac and cash as forms of payment.

Veil Appointments

Veil app’ts are 15 minutes.  You must already have purchased a dress (from anywhere!) to book a veil consultation

Email us the numbers of up to 5 selections prior to arriving.  We have tons of veils not in the catalogue so let us know if you have something in mind you can’t find.

You can bring your dress to colour match only – not to try on.

 Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, please cancel or reschedule your appointment as soon as you can!!!  To cancel or reschedule, login to your account here. If  you run into problems, just email us and we’ll cancel/reschedule it for you.

Please note: If the spot you want is unavailable check back frequently!  The online app’t system updates in real time.  Make sure you receive a confirmation email… otherwise your appointment did not go through.
